Transfer Categories

Description
Adds a right-click option for grabbing and storing all items of the same category from a container. This improves item management without requiring extensive setup like some other mods. Designed for quick, spontaneous transfers rather than in-depth, end-game base management.

Note: This mod has not been tested on Build 41, only on Build 42.

Purpose of this Mod: My playstyle often involves chaotic vehicle loading, stuffing the trunk full of loot, and then spending too much time unloading it at my base. This mod streamlines that process by allowing you to quickly grab and offload all items of a specific category—no more tedious manual selection for batch transfers.

With Transfer Categories, you can easily move grouped items to the right place, eliminating the hassle of sorting everything one-by-one. Fast. Simple. Efficient.

Updated 3/20/25: Added all PZ supported translations. I can adjust these if they are incorrect. Just let me know. Thanks.

Thanks, this is very convenient. I use CleanUI for its "Stack to All" functionality, however you have to go Escape - Mod Options to choose whether you want stack to all or stack to all categories.

@mountainofcheezo No problem. I learned my lesson lol. I should have searched for what I wanted before making my own.

I'm glad you enjoy it @Aftermath_FIN
I added a link in the comments for a mod I found after making this one that seems to do similar transferring, but a bit smarter. Just an FYI if you want more features.

@ppernsteingolem I use it with the Manage Containers mod and have not had any issues. I use that mod for transferring items to my static containers, like at base. I use this mod for dynamic containers, like backpacks, inventory, vehicles, etc. Let me know if you do run into any conflicts. I'm expecting something since there are so many mods, sort of odd that there hasn't been any mention of an issue yet.

Yeah, Unpack is pretty similar at a glance... with a focus on moving items out of inventory based on what is already present in containers. I don't really play Zomboid anymore, and don't support the mod at this point either. I'm just a workshop lurker these days. But yeah, have at it! Good luck; have fun!

@mountainofcheezo Like I was saying earlier, my biggest concern is the restrictions. Like if you wanted to add food items to a container via this mod, then by my understanding you would have to add a food item first. The main reason I went this route was to avoid any setup, even though what you're suggesting is pretty minimal. I'll give it a try. I could use the practice anyway. It might take me a few days, though.
