This will be super brief, but please attempt the following to see whether it improves performance:


This is the sort of thing common in 90's gaming, I was not expecting to see it here.
To alleviate this:

1. On windows 11: Search "Graphics settings"
   
2. Then add Left Alive to the list of apps by choosing "add desktop app" and selecting the executable from the following directory:
   "\Steam\steamapps\common\LEFT ALIVE\game\bin\win\LEFTALIVE.exe"
   
3. Now from the Graphics setting menu, Select Left Alive, GPU Preference and chose "High performance"
   
4. Boot the game from the directory as an administrator, do not use any shortcuts or even the steam launcher

If you do not boot the game from the directory then the game will reset and default back to the CPU. Forcing you to repeat the steps above.

My FPS On Ultra boosted from 8fps to 38fps. Thats a 350% improvement.
I'm running a old RTS 3050 4GB, 12th Gen I5 & 16gb of Ram at 1440p
Newer rigs should see an even greater boost but you will still need to knock a few settings down to have things run smoothly.

As for World of Tanks!

1. Go to the steam Library, right click the game, properties, DLC
   
2. Deselect the World of Tanks cross promotion
   
3. Verify files

That will remove all of the World of Tanks in game promotional material.
You may also chose to re-install the game with the cross promotion de-selected. This will have the same out come.

I am unable to test this on AMD Hardware, results may vary.
