Base Building Setup
Start off by attempting a Satellite Rush, with the recognition that the construction projects will still be useful in the following month if the timing doesn’t work. Build a Workshop ASAP, conserving all other resources for a Satellite Uplink and four Satellites. Develop as many Snipers as possible, with the hope of converting extras into MECs once they reach Colonel. Follow up by researching the Alien Containment facility and then Carapace Armor.

Medal Abilities
Urban Combat Badge: +5 Defense in Cover
Defender's Medal: Medikits and Restorative Mist heal 2 HP more when used on the soldier.
International Service Cross: +2 Aim per continent bonus XCOM has earned.
Council Medal of Honor: +1 Aim and Will for each mission with no deaths, up to +10.
Star of Terra: Entire squad receives +5 Will and +5 Defense in battle. Robotic units receive only the Defense bonus.
