R-29C

Description
Developed from the R-29 "Big Rig", the R-29C is an improvised siege submarine, bringing super heavy weaponry to the front lines of the conflict between the Coalition and the Separatists. Not wanting to wait for further refinment of the technology to allow it to be safely mounted on existing military submarines, the Coalition used the massive internal space of the R-29 to fit a spinal Heavy Railgun to bring the fight to Separatist controlled stations and the aggressive fauna found in Europa's depths.

Sporting improved supercapacitors, a spinally-mounted Heavy Railgun, two small and one large mount, a light rotary chaingun with integrated overclock for use in emergencies, and a blast shield fitted over the bridge window, the R-29C is a formidable combatant, despite its humble origins. It still suffers from some of the issues of the original, with poor drainage, distributed junction boxes, and the bulk ammo storage is far from the gunnery compartment. The R-29's powerful reactor, while more than sufficient for a transport submarine, may start to struggle as more electronics are added or in moments of high draw.

Likely overtuned. Designed for my current Dynamic Europa Campaign group of mostly new players. None of the Vanilla Tier 3s jumped out to anyone, so I asked which of the Tier 2s looked cool, and picked from one from their suggestions that I thought I could make fun changes to, while trying to keep the original identity and hopefully not making it too OP.
