Takeo Masaki has arrived into Smack Studio! He comes equipped with a few bows, the Mauser, and of course his main weapon, the Path of Sorrows katana, as well as the Perk-a-Colas to boost his offensive power and speed.

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: BOOMHILDA
A chargeable laser that ignores shields. The longer it's charged, the stronger it is.

SIDE SPECIAL: MERCILESS DASH
Dash forward a set distance, leaving red after images behind. Cancellable into any attack. Can be done multiple times in the air, but only the first use is useful, since it loses most of its horizontal velocity in every subsequent use until landing, grabbing ledge, or getting hit. It has a bit of super armour early on, meaning he can tank hits with the right timing; this super armour can be transferred into the cancelled attack, with the right timing, although it typically won't last into the active frames of the attack. It's a versatile tool, for both movement and aggressive usage.

UP SPECIAL: THUNDERGUN
Aim the weapon downwards and use it to rocket yourself upwards! Holding the special button down will cause the weapon to Pack-a-Punch and briefly become the Zeus Cannon, an upgraded version of the Thundergun, which deals more damage, and launches both you and your opponent even further.

DOWN SPECIAL: SHADOW OF DEATH
Parry an attack, then counterattack with a wide slash. Has a pretty substantial horizontal reach, although it cannot deflect projectiles. It's low endlag upon counterattacking also means he could potentially get a follow up if you are sick eonugh.

ULTRA: KAMINARI BARRAGE
Power up the Path of Sorrows and perform a barrage of slashes. Unaffected by Widow's Wine and Ethereal Razor.

TAUNT: PERK-A-COLA
Drink a random Perk-A-Cola to obtain a variety of effects, which reset upon losing a stock. A perk may still be obtained from random chance regardless of whether you already have it or not; does not stack.
-Juggernog (Red): Increase Defense from 1.3 to 1.55.
-Speed Cola (Green): Decrease startup frames on all aerials, and Forward Air gains an additional slash.
-Stamin Up (Yellow): Increase running speed and air acceleration.
-Widow's Wine (Black): The tipper on all sword attacks (except throws, Down B, and Ultra) deal slightly more damage and stuns enemies.
-Ethereal Razor (Blue): Sword attacks (except throws, Down B, and Ultra) deal slightly more damage.
-Tombstone (Purple): Instead of losing all perks on death, lose only Tombstone while maintaining the rest of the perks.
