The LC-03 is designed to operate on a simple and inexpensive rail system that is easy to build in survival mode.

- The rail itself consists of two large grid blocks placed side by side.
- The support column below is made from two half-blocks to ensure they do not interfere with the locomotive's wheels.
- The rest of the support structure can be built however you prefer, as it does not affect train movement.
