Eifel Forest 1944

Description
Standalone, Summer or Autumn version of Darkest December:

I am unaware of major operations in this area prior to the Battle of the Bulge, and the intent is for this map to serve as a generic late 1944 Europe map.

~1/2 scale area map of the northern 6th panzer army offensive, coming out to 11km x 11km, including locations such as:
- Twin-villages Krinkelt-Rocherath
- Lausdell Crossroads
- Southern tip of Elsenborn Ridge
- Lanzerath
- Baugnez Crossroads
- Bulingen
- Butgenbach
- Domaine Butgenbach
- The ruins of St. Vith
- Faymonville
- Hunningen
- Thirimont
- And more

Approximately 2.1 million objects.

The mod utilizes Spearhead assets and obviously will require the CDLC, but the compatibility mod pack should also work. Also required is the Hurtgen forest map for misc. clutters and objects.

This map will still be updated in the future as bugs are found or improvements (Object placement, textures, etc) can be made. Total production time for the terrain was 2 weeks. (Started November 15th)

@E_50_Panzer Would you ever be open to making a Market Garden map? There is a desperate lack of high quality ones.

Brother is it possible to donate to you?
2 reasons 1 you added one of my favorite areas in ww2 to a quality and scale that only a few other maps compete with.

2 id like to see you continue to expand the fronts in ww2 and modders do this out of passion and sometimes I think that should be rewarded.

Are you working on any new maps for ww2 currently?

There is someone else I know of who was working on Peleliu but I havent seen an update in a long time. As for maps in progress (well paused) there is a Nanking map and Seelow Heights. Another map I want to engage with is something for Southeast asia and Indochina - or a new type of island for the pacific war.

As far as I know, compatibility mods should do the job. No promises though

These maps are indeed amazing ... Do they work with the Compatibility Data mods, or they need the CDLC ?
