Small Club Interface - A Background Picture Mod for WAF24

or the real little league feeling: This mod replaces some of the backgrounds of WE ARE FOOTBALL 2024. Particularly suitable for small clubs and starting in the lowest league.

Instructions:

1. Find the workshop files on your hard disk. The easiest way is to search for "ReadMe_Dorfclub-Mod.txt". For an installation on C under Windows 11, the path should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1951410\3444989094

2. Copy the files into the WAF folder.

If everything was done correctly, the bg_decoration.png file should be in the following path: [We Are Football folder]\datafiles\imagesets\bg\bg_Decoration.png

3. Important: Start WAF and activate "Own have highest priority" in the game options under "Image Display Order". Save and exit WAF.

4. restart and load the savegame: If everything went well, you should see the new backgrounds immediately. :-)

If you don't like an image, you can simply delete it and the default image will be used again. You can also replace the images with your own images. You can find the exact instructions in the official guide: "WAF2024 - The ultimate guide.pdf".

Known problems: Unfortunately, not all images can be replaced. This is why, for example, the loading screen still shows the large WAF stadium. This is due to the way WAF loads its files and, according to the developer, is not so easy to change. The same applies to the many small images in the game (e.g. for the team atmosphere), which cannot currently be changed.
