[ARC9] ARC9 Unlameifier (OFFICIAL GITHUB MIRROR)

Description
WARNING: NOT PUBLIC RELEASE. IT ISN'T PRIVATE BUT THIS IS VERSION OF UNLAMEIFIER IS NOT "RELEASE READY".

UNLAMEIFIER IS BUILT FOR SINGLEPLAYER. YOU MAY RUN INTO ISSUES WITH MULTIPLAYER, SUPPORT WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR MULTIPLAYER USERS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.

THIS IS AN EXACT MIRROR OF https://github.com/AerosunST/the_villain_arc9_unlameifier
BOTH THIS VERSION AND THE GITHUB VERSION ARE THE EXACT SAME.

GitHub Description:

ARC9 Universal Manipulation sideproject. Allows the user to contort ARC9 in ways that are far beyond what was ever intended.

HERE BE DRAGONS: This is a powertool. By using this, you run the risk of instability, broken behavior, and/or poor performance. Unlameifier does not cause any permanent or irreversible damage as it does not directly modify anything. It is completely safe to test and experiment with in its current state and will continue to be so even when it is released on workshop.

UPD: 1/28/2025: We are making necessary preparations for Workshop Release. Please bear in mind that presets using Unlameifier may break during this time.

THIS PROJECT IS NOT FINISHED (But we are working as quickly as we can). THIS WILL ALL BE UPLOADED TO THE WORKSHOP WHEN IT HAS REACHED A POINT OF GENERAL COMPLETION. FURTHERMORE, THE CONTENTS OF UNLAMEIFIER WILL BE SEPARATED INTO PARTS TO MAKE IT EASIER TO PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT OUT OF IT.

PLEASE DO NOT REUPLOAD UNLAMEIFIER TO THE WORKSHOP.

Thank you :)

If you are experiencing problems with Unlameifier such as tools not working the way they're stated to work (Please note: Unlameifier is being tested using Darsu's Escape from Tarkov Weapons at this time of writing) please report them to @neosunpersonal at the Diamond Doves' Discord Server's tech support channel (linked here: https://discord.gg/gaHXusZ ). This is so I can better track your issue and get help from other code-savvy members from the group should I need it (or I am just simply not available). Messages sent to my DMs directly will be promptly ignored for this reason. Thank you for your understanding.

If you are interested in translating for Unlameifier, please reach out to Moka on Discord @moka_akashiya85. All translation-related pull-requests will be handled by him.

------

You do not have my permission to reupload, fork, or "compress" (dude let's just be real here it's blatant theft in broad daylight, quit coping) Unlameifier to the Steam Workshop. There are strictly zero exceptions to this rule. ARC9 Unlameifier will be divided into modules and uploaded to the Steam Workshop publicly when it is ready for release. Until then, this version of Unlameifier will be maintained alongside the GitHub version. When released, this version will be abandoned much like the current GitHub Repository. Each module will be given its own repo.

As for developers making content for Unlameifier, while I'm not going to stop you from uploading content to the Steam Workshop, I highly advise waiting until Unlameifier has publicly released to avoid confusion with anyone who is not aware of UL's existence. Thank you for your understanding.

Have fun :)

That shouldn't affect performance in any meaningful way as it's just scaling a .png file.

weird.

for me 0.1x tracers scale literally disabling them & my fps is much higher with this thing
Neosun  [author] 19 Oct @ 5:38am
@TBo9

This mod does not disable tracers in any way. It does provide options to force tracers and select color + scale.

@Rotecty

ARC9 has a "minimum distance" before tracers start appearing but if you want the *effect* of a laserbeam (hitscan, perfect accuracy) you can start by using the tuning system to crank muzzle velocity way high, set bullet gravity x0 (it's in the divide folder), set bullet drag x0 (again, divide folder), and then set spread to be as low as desired.

For cosmetics, go into the Unlameifier Core and find the tracers in the toys folder. From there, pick a size and a color of your choice and that should work for a "laser".

goated mod for disabling freakin tracers, kinda of fps boost

Is it possible to add the ability to make the laser beam visible and vice versa? For example, make the laser dot remain visible while the beam itself is hidden? It would also be nice to add other ways to hold the weapon by the forend. Honestly, I don't know how to explain it, but these "grip/hold" types are only available for the EFT and Polyarms sets. It would be nice to add something similar from the MW2019 pack.

I understand, to each his own, in any case, thanks for the addon, it gives a lot of room for experimentation and fun

Admittedly I don't like MW19/MW22/MW23 sounds because of how many times I've heard these sounds outside of CoD (this is called Audio Fatigue) but I knew people were going to ask me to add them in anyways. It's *VERY* low priority.
Rotectytehiest 7 Sep @ 2:47pm
I like the sounds of ARC9 EFT, but they get boring too quickly with their "monotonousness" and do not seem as alive and "massive" as the sounds from MW2019, especially the sounds of M4A1 from ARC9 EFT. The sounds of this wonderful rifle are very bad. It would be great to somehow implement the sounds from MW2019, I hope you can do it.

@Roctectyehiest

MW19 sounds are layered, not something we can cleanly implement. I did want to do this though so I'm not explicitly saying no.

ARC9 MW2019 i mean
