Asgard Remake Zombies

Description
This map was remade from scratch based on an original custom map from CoD: WaW
with the same name, created by Pedrehitor.

The original design has been preserved as much as possible while adapting it to more modern graphics.
The map was designed with a more classic gameplay in mind, blending elements from BO2 and BO3.

Map Content:
-Custom guns ("Bo2, Bo")
-hud bo2, og round sounds
-No perks limits
-ee for final ending

The easter egg, once you know to shoot the radio towers with the Waffe - which really is not obvious, especially when two of the towers are effectively hidden behind trees unless you know what to look for - is extremely simple. It feels like the sprinters, expensive doors, and, again, random Elemental Margwa are just there to try to inflate the difficulty. The layout itself isn't bad, and I wouldn't mind it as a call back to the era of simple maps it was actually made during, but the artificial difficulty really holds it back, in my opinion. I want to like it, but I cannot recommend it unless you're really dying to play a map with a cramped starting room that spawns in sprinters from the start of the game.

This map's difficulty feels very artificial. Just beat the map, and I would be ok with it if it felt fair. You've added in things that I can only assume weren't in the original version of the map, such as Widow's Wine, Cold War Ammo Boxes, and the elemental Margwa that comes out of nowhere for the exfil - so, why not add in a rampage inducer and just lock the Round 1 Sprinters behind that? Include a note in the map description saying that the sprinters were part of the original difficulty if they were there. (cont.)

Good map but it reminds me to always check a map description before playing because holy hell I could not figure out how to turn on the power, but it made sense after I did it so maybe im just dumb, the absence of both stamin-up and mule kick is no bueno.

well made map it was confusing how to turn on power. Thankfully there was a youtube video. only complaint is no mule kick. i couldnt even pick up the other buildable weapon.

meh. map was ok (kinda boring) until I hit a zombie blood that stayed permanently active

who the fuck thought it would be fun to make expensive doors and sprinting zombies round 2. Im glad theres plenty more to play so i can pretend this doesnt exist .:steamthumbsdown:
