Introduction
A lot of time and effort was put into bringing this creature guide to life. If you like this guide or it helped you, please consider upvoting! <3

This guide is almost finished, if there are any suggestions or information that should be added, please feel free to leave a comment! :)

I'm considering doing other guides for biomes, items, resources, etc. if anyone is interested.

Future Planned Additions

Bloom Sprite

Basic Info

Chitterling
Basic Info
Alive Scan: "A skittish arthropod that survives through its agility. I can't identify any features of this creature that can be used for self-defense."

  • Murky Depths
  • The Bleached Sands

Tips
  • It is incredibly hard to attack the Chitterling, so it is best to capture it in a Net then slaughter it.
    • The Chitterling notices when players approach from the front, so approach from its back to have higher success of capturing it.
  • Making Nets and a Portable Stove is easy early-game, which means Cooked Chitterling Nuggets is a good source of early-game food.
  • Since Chitterlings drop Resin after eating Kepple Fruit, you can make a Resin farm inside your base by growing a bunch of Kepple Plants, then releasing captured Chitterlings inside your base.

Notes
  • Eats nearby Kepple Fruit.
    • The Chitterling drops a piece of Resin when it eats Kepple Fruit.
  • If feeling threatened and close enough to a Resin Mound, the Chitterling will burrow into the ground.

Tips
  • Wait before it shoots towards you before engaging, this way you can deal damage to it without taking damage.

Notes
  • Will often try to run away if the player gets too close, making this one of the more annoying creatures to fight.
  • **There is currently a glitch where if you capture a Plaspod in a Net, you can't place it back down and it sometimes turns invisible in your inventory or storage.
