Over 8 hours into this game and I'm loving it so far. The way you progress feels natural and it makes you explore for your resources. The Tech tree is mostly satisfying to grind for. It's not super grindy either, you can also farm at your base for food and other crafting ingredients which is very nice. The base-building is decent enough and simple enough to understand once you do a bit of testing. Such as the airlock. You need to double up on the airlock doors otherwise every time you enter/leave your base you will see a graphical animation of air flying out the door which means you're losing oxygen from inside your base. I thought that was a very nice touch as a small feature. The heating system is dependent on how big or small you build your base. It will also tell you how many Heat Bulbs you require before you can start warming up from them.

The music is also nice to chill out to whether you're exploring, building, crafting, or in combat. The atmosphere of the game isn't too Indie nor full AAA, just a nice medium where you aren't expected to get into intense fights or build for your life.

I highly recommend this game for anyone intertested in builder/management/rpg titles.

I think this is the worst start of any game I have tried to play. First 10 mins of story but no help with what to use to gather or what to gather. I don't want to spend hours ? well it did say build a base not sure how, but how do I? use a hammer? or what? Really. Really boring. Hope I didn't pay much for game.

Fun, well balanced with an emphasis on gathering and crafting. Not too monty haul but also not too stingy. Challenging game but fun and the story is captivating!
