Description
The EMD F59PH is a diesel-electric locomotive used for commuter rail service in Canada. Orginally purchased by only GO Transit and Metrolink of Los Angeles; these units have been sold, and resold a few times, and now find themselves on use on a few Canadian commuter rail operations. Exo are replacing their F59PHs with Siemens chargers in the coming years, while West Coast Express's F59PHs are part of their reserve fleet.
