Description

Half Sword is a new medieval sword fighting game that is currently available in demo form on Steam. It's an intense, physics-based brawler where your mouse movements control the angle of your shield and the swing of your weapons. I thought it was be mostly silly, but I walked away very impressed.

Considering I've played a few games that attempt to pull this off, and the fact that there are warnings that this is just an early demo experience for Half Sword, my expectations were at ground level. But a few seconds into my first sword fight of Half Sword, and I knew this game has something special.

Seriously, go wishlist Half Sword on Steam if you're even half interested (no pun intended). The physics can be a little wonky, but it's also surprisingly smooth to watch combat unfold and you'll see me take a few moments to just watch the sword fights in Half Sword play out between the bots.
