An amazing physics medieval fighting game, I've always looked for a game like this. And I found it. Right now, there is a playtest and a demo you can choose from. I've only played the playtest so far. And it's fun.

There are gore settings, allowing you to tone it down. (which is always good in my book). There are 8 or 9 "stages" or "classes" you can pick from. Each stage would have different armors and weapons, lower stages have less quality/amount of weapons and quality/amount of armor and higher stages have more of those.

The combat itself is realistic and fun, I've seen some people in the discussions say it's bad and or finicky. Yet in my honest opinion, I do not think so. The gore (if set at the highest setting) is very satisfying and realistic. There are different modes, some only being on certain stages. My favorite is the 1V4s on the higher stages.

And the game is still at its playtest stage, not even early access yet. Lots of more updates and the official release will be in the future. And I'll be excited to wait until then.

I do wish for some other things, like an armor and weapon chooser, having to continuelessly cycle through guys until having the weapon I want takes a bit. And a choice to pick any mode and then to have it random would be cool, and having the 1V4 with lower stages would be nice too. BUT MOST IMPORTANT, PLEASE, let it be easier to get up or shoo away the AI. 90% of the time when you fall, you won't get back up again cause the AI will keep, on, slapping you. And making you tired again, then not being able to get up. And so forth. You can only accept defeat.

For my 16 hours of playtime, I have only seen a few bugs:

If someone is speared onto a long weapon, and you let go and then grab it again, they go flying. (tbh, I love this so much, it's so funny. But it's still a bug so)

Slight UI bugs, like the menu showing when loading. Or sometimes just not being able to resume a match after pausing.

Some performance issues when lots of blood and or enemies. Even with lower graphics settings.



Final rating: For a playtest, it's a solid 8/10. Great gameplay, a few bugs, and some wanted features. All normal for a playest, and it's free. So no reason not to play =)
