There's no documentation stating that explicitly anywhere, but I'd say it's safe to assume that's how it works. Especially with how marginal some of the bonuses of double nodes are compared to single.

If a doctrine node can be upgraded twice, does that mean the effect doubles? For example, if basic handgunnery gives the following effects at one doctrine point:

Does that mean when spending two doctrine points the effects become:

Just to be specific, if you see anything like "Aim Time -25/-50,"  that means "mininmum aim time -25" and "maximum aim time -50."

Much easier to understand than the local files.

Sorry if you have already noticed, but since v1.06,
Militia's secondaries are NOT affected by handgun doctrines, NOR by Militia Training doctrine.
(latter would be since v1.0 I suppose)
