Trials of the 45th US infantry division

Description
September 19, 1943

The 45th US infantry division is pushing through the Italian heartland ever since their assault landing Paestum.

With the peaks and mountainous area of the regional park Monti Picentini to their left flank they advance through countless crossroads, hamlets, olive groves and fields.

The battle is about to commence for one of those crossroads in the Infinity Valley...

I've decided to revisit my original map and turn it into a 3v3. I took the opportunity to add new assets to match it closer to my original vision.

The map is based off a real world location (40°42'03.8"N 15°13'31.3"E) and is quite representative of the countryside in that region: real patchwork of olive groves, fields and hedgerows. My map aims to reflect this, taking inspiration from the actual area.

Can't say I'm aware of any issues like that nor have I experienced them myself. Is this around the main junction in the centre?

Height bonus is triggered at 3+ metre difference. I'll have a look. It would help if you could describe exactly where T2 gets a height advantage (assuming you play T1)

Unfortunately this map seems to have very weird issues when it comes to high ground. In the middle of the map being behind a fence causes that, also any slight change in terrain gives one side height advantage. Practically lost this map twice against AI because their side is so minimally raised and still have height advantage.

Thanks for playing Unlikely! Unfortunately it's an issue with the VP points that Relic is aware of and have plans to fix. Unfortunately I cannot fix this 😕

It's a fun map to play, and beautiful besides.

When game mode is set to Victory Point, everything works fine. When set to Annihilation, there are some sectors that cannot be captured (the ones that were associated with the victory points).
