Yes. What you mentioned has also troubled me in the past, so I made this mod to solve the problem.

Does this work with mods that change the county UI? E.g., increased building slot mods + county ui fix? Historically any "move realm capital anytime you want to" mods didn't work with them. The workaround was to install both, and disable the UI mods and enable the "move capital" mod when you wanted to move your capital. Then after you moved your capital reenable the UI mods and disable the "move capital" mod. Fugly but it works.
