The Kingdoms of Agranoth are living in relative peace these days. Sure, there are the usual skirmishes with lawless outcasts or marauding Orc and Goblin Tribes. But most kingdoms tend to have harvest festivals and knight tournaments.

Peace between the Human Kingdoms has lasted for 23 years now.

But something is changing. The northern Kingdoms Merna and Nart are reporting increased attacks by the Norsemen. In the South-West the Kingdom of Neusos has to hold against more and more Barbarians and the Hill Tribes have ended all diplomacy. A Cult called the Shadow Pilgrims gains followers all over the Land.

And deep in the northern Mountains, a few days ago, a courier arrived at the border of the Mountain Guardians with terrible news. The neighboring countries of Arun were overrun by the Shadow army. A terrible danger led by dark magicians and their cursed Leader King Erskal. Banished from Agranoth years ago for his cruelty. Now he turns his gaze to Agranoth. What evil pacts did he make to become that powerful to conquer Arun?

His shadow army will have crossed the mountain pass in a few days. Prepare for War. Will the alliance of Kingdoms hold, or will everything and everyone be overrun by the army of shadows?
