Skrunda-1 (Līdumnieki) - an abandoned Soviet military town in Latvia, built in the 1960s to house personnel for a radar station designed to detect incoming western missiles. Once a self-sufficient community with housing, schools, and shops, it was abandoned after the fall of the USSR and demolition of the radar in 1990s, it stayed that way until 2018. Today the town has been turned into military training grounds for the needs of the Latvian armed forces and NATO.

The ultimate goal of the map was to recreate the whole town in its abandoned state with accessible interiors for every building. That idea sadly had to be scrapped due to Source engine limitations. Now the map resembles most of the residential area of Skrunda-1 and features some interiors, including a full apartment building with 45 accessable apartments and destructible features. The map can be fun for cinematic shots, PVP matches or Roleplays.
