the reason they dont get set on fire is because the player sets things on fire 99% of the time and the player cant friendly fire

thats because the vortigaunts were never planned to go in contact with a combine elite, the ones with energy balls specifically. That is why they dont go into low gravity ragdoll mode.

also when i hit him with an energy ball he doesnt ragdoll and disintegrate, he disintegrates while still being alive, he can even still shoot before disapearing

okay, cuz in the kitchen part of nova prospekt when i throw gas at him it does nothing

hey dude i know this is sorta unrelated, but could you make the vort slave npc catch on fire when your throw a gas can/canister at him?
