RAID (Outposts)

Description
Considering the new DLC expansion coming out is outpost orientated I'm going to wait until then to update/fix this mod. Sorry just not playing barotrauma atm!
Have you ever wanted to raid/attack an outpost but your bots aren't playing along?
This mod fixes that!

Allows the player(s) to initiate a "raid" on an outpost.

It does so by getting the outpost's allied faction and setting it's reputation to hostile temporarily. This allows bots to target outpost NPCs as they're considered enemies. Faction reputation will return to normal, except for a -20 rep as a debuff, at the end of the round.

REQUIRES LUA FOR BAROTRAUMA

To initiate raid:
Use the Raid-io!

To initiate raid:
Use the War Horn!

Raid is ended at the end of the round. -20 reputation will be taken against the outpost's allied faction!

To change the -rep value you will need a local/personal copy of the mod:
Copy the mod found at:
...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\602960\3427614661
and paste it to your local mods folder at:
...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Barotrauma\LocalMods
Open it's
filelist.xml
and replace it's text with:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <contentpackage name="[EDITED] RAID (Outposts)" modversion="1.3" corepackage="False" gameversion="1.7.7.0" > <Item file="%ModDir%/Content/Items/Items.xml" /> </contentpackage>
Open
3427614661/Lua/autorun/CO_Outpost_Raid.lua
Edit the -80 to any negative number lesser then -60. Otherwise you gain reputation from raiding.
For example: if you changed it to -75, (60 - 75 = -15), means a -15 debuff at the end of the round.
-- Sets reputation to -80 to make it hostile, the added -20 from -60 is to decentivize spamming it. stLocation.Faction.Reputation.SetReputation(-80)

Recommended mods:
Killable Outpost NPCs (Self explanatory)
Dynamic Europa (Has great mechanics for outpost raiding/takeover/destruction)

Dev Note:
1. I don't know how the game will react longterm to changing the reputations so suddenly and drastically.
2. If playing multiplayer, it might be better to use the chat command version of this mod.

Psst.. hey... the plasma cutter, Morty. Cut the ladder room, it's rooms are fragile. We won't even lose rep if we cut the walls while out of sight while the dumbass bots will try to find a diving suit while we had stolen it... instead of trying to figure out who is responsible for the mess, Morty. Yes it will take a bunch of time but you will full loot an outpost without rep loss

would be cool if you raided the coalition and the separatists became happier with ya

soo a question, if i have say 70 rep with coalition, use horn/raidio. Then attack everyone, will my rep be 50 at the end or 50- since i also attack people ?

Sounds like my specialty.

@BAGIRA I added a how to change the -reputation into it's description.

It's not the most convenient way, but for modpacks/servers/admins it's probably better that the value can't be changed in-game.

Also i'll have to try it with the bribes mod! Thanks for suggesting it.

Bro , its so juicy to use w/ outpost`s bribes mod, can you make some settings (if possible ofc) to change amount of "-rep" after raid ends? :bodybag:
