Description:
Sentinel-Class Littoral Combat Ship is a nimble, quite fast and somehow afforable small-medium size ship.
Designed for navigating shallow green waters with ease.

Lore:
'Sentinel' program was launched by the UA's Department of the Navy, with task of developing a "cheap" warship to defend Albion's waters from the frequent threat of Shogunate's many submarine fleets.

Maneuverable, fast enough to hunt down even the smallest enemy submarines. Armed enough to protect itself from torpedoes, submarine launched drones and aircraft.

The program went through many issues and ended up being much more expensive than planned. Albion's oligarchy planned to cease the funds to the program, but was in the end convinced by the Head of Admirality Archibald Jellicoe to keep funding the project.

From political and economical stand-point the project was a disaster, Sentinel-class ships being considered "too expensive" for their given role.
However, the Sentinel-Class has proven to serve their role well, forcing the Shogunate to limit their submarine operations near Albion's waters and allowing the Albion's Pearl Fleet to focus on blue water operations.
