Description

Victorian Era Map: Third Edition
This map is intended to enhance your Victoria 3 playthroughs, by bringing more historical authenticity and flair into your games. As the flagship mod of the series, it is intricately detailed, featuring nautical drawings, as well as the names of countless seas, gulfs, hundreds of towns and more.

The Third Edition: The map has been redesigned from the ground up to bring it up to par with the mods in the series. It features new and improved drawings, hundreds of new location-names on the map, and lots more visual enhancements.

Main Inspirations:
- The French map Carte Générale de L'Afrique Nouvelle Edition from 1877
- 1849 Greenleaf Map of Africa
- 1816 Thomson Four-Sheet Wall Map of Europe after the Congress of Vienna

How to enable it:
Open the Theme Selector, then select "TGGM:Victorian Era Map" next to the "Paper Map" setting.

Versions:
The latest version is 3.0, aka "Third Edition".
You may need to resubscribe to update to the latest version.
To see what version you have open the Theme Selector and find "TGGM:Victorian Era Map V3.0".
The number at the end indicates your mod's version - if there's no number, then you have an older (pre-3.0) version.

Hi all,
Sorry for the late reply, I started a new job recently and just been busy.

Why's the version number missing in 1.9.7?
I probably forgot to edit one of the text files, I'll have a look into it and update the mod.

Why does the text look blurry when zoomed and can anything be done about it?
I think it's probably to do with the mipmap-filter I use when exporting the maps. I'll experiment with some other formats to see if any of them solves the issue.

Thank you for the work. For game version 1.9.7, I don't see the version number v3.0 behind even after re-installation, but the texture looks like it's exactly third edition, is it normal?

Very gorgeous.

Is it normal that the map text looks somewhat blurry? The text next to the port cities is barely readable. I've turned off all other mods and that didn't change the blurriness. Am I overlooking something?

No, they can be loaded in whatever order.

Does the load order of the mods make any difference?

LOve the map but I'm certain to eventually mess up the required sub-items when shuffling mods around :s
