Ever since I've done this for Half Life 2, I had a feeling if people were wanting this for Garry's Mod so I did this (with just some clicks). As far as I know if you want to add a mod from another source game into this you can go to the directory of the mods you downloaded of your game or if you don't own it, you can use applications such as "SteamCMD", "Crowbar" or workshop downloader websites to download it. Extract the files from the VPK itself using "GCFScape" or Crowbar, or convert it into ZIP/RAR file and then put the root of the folder into the "addons" folder.
