Training Target

Description
TRAINING TARGET :

This mod will allow you to train on shooting targets and increase your aiming skills.

By practicing with the target, you can gradually build up your aiming skills.
Don't shoot too close to the target, or you'll make no progress. Of course, if you get too noisy practising, you'll be in for a visit :)
This is a port of my old first mod "Training Target" (b41), for the moment you can only use Circular, Silhouette and Can Target, these targets must be put on a wall.
You can also train your melee skill with a mannequin (In the future maybe i will re-implement the Dummy Target)

RECIPES :
Circular Target :
Pencil/Crayons
2 sheets of paper

Silhouette Target :
Pencil/Crayons
2 sheets of paper

Can Target :

4 nails

So far, I mostly agree with the balance of training gains from this, as it makes sense to me you'd learn more (and spend less ammo doing it) with real moving targets than stationary paper targets or dummies, but it sure tears through melee weapon durability.

Crude spears aren't exactly the most resilient, but I would think melee weapon durability in training would actually be inverse of skill gain. That is, I would expect to gain skill more slowly, but damage my crude homemade spear less in training than in the real thing.

is this exclusively on b42, or does it work on b41 multiplayer?

@Batman-[FR] could you explain how the randomness works? I've gone through a LOT of ammo and I'm looking to change the chance of hitting the targets manually. Do you think itd be possible to add a sandbox option to change it?

obviously that woman cannot shoot for shit if she has to press the rifle into the target just to hit center mass.

But after testing it for a few days, I found that its shooting probability is a bit random. Even if my aiming skill is level 5, I get more experience when facing strong zombies than I did during training. It wastes more ammunition during training. This is not very effective and needs to be improved.

This module is very useful. It has a chance to hit the target and gain shooting experience points. However, I hope that even if the aluminum can is hit, it will not disappear immediately, but there will be a chance that it will be damaged and cannot be used again.

Looks interesting. Did the (hit) targeting ever get resolved?
