Crye AVS Plate Carriers - Milsim Customizations

Description
Three MBAVs for the Rangers under the sky,
Seven JPCs for the MARSOC in their halls of crayons,
Nine LBT 6094s for Mortal SEALs doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Brooklyn where the Shadows lie.
One AVS to rule them all, One AVS to find them,
One AVS to bring them all and in Multicam Black bind them
In the Land of Brooklyn where the Shadows lie.

This mod contains multiple models of Crye Precision's Adaptive Vest System, as well as battle belts and helmets, for all of your milsim and tactical barbie dolls needs.

In particular, as of the initial launch version, this mod currently contains fixed Multicam variants (and some Multicam Black versions) of the following:
  • 3 AVS "Assaulter" setups,
  • 3 AVS "Automatic Rifleman" setups,
  • 2 AVS "Rifleman" setups,
  • 2 AVS "JTAC" setups,
  • 1 AVS "Team Lead" and "Breacher" setups,
  • 2 Tyr Belt "Assaulter" setups,
  • 2 Tyr Belt "Rifleman" setups,
  • 1 Tyr Belt "Breacher" setup,
  • 1 Tyr Belt "Grenadier" setup,
  • 4 Ops-Core FAST SF helmets,
  • 2 Crye Airframe helmets,
  • and much more.

As of May 27th 2025, there are 25 AVS setups (12 in Multicam, 13 in MCB), 14 helmets (7 in Multicam, 5 in MCB, one in tan and one in olive drab) and 18 belt setups (7 Multicam, 11 MCB) in the mod.

Additionally, most of the vests and helmets have colorable glowsticks or V-Lites, which can be used to denote squad leaders, troop elements, soldier classes, or something else. These are affected by the secondary color option.

All of these are all available for both genders. If the boys can LARP up with hit eroge series Black Powder Red Earth, then so shall the girls.

RECOMMENDED MODS

Project Dollhouse or Unrestricted Customization is highly recommended, as the AVSes and the helmets are currently coded just for kevlar armor the plate carriers are no longer limited to kevlar, but I recommend the two above mods regardless, just to be safe. I still lean toward the former just for the colorable glowsticks and V-Lites.

The Phantom Pain's Outfit Collection for extra clothes, but mostly the Diamond Dogs fatigues and uniforms. Just remember: Modernized Diamond Dogs aren't real, they can't hurt you.

Modular Shanty and Urban Clothes (or the Male Clothing Pack and the two Female Clothing Packs for more customizable clothes,) if you're a fan of the plainclothes SOF aesthetic.

I noticed these all vanish when you go into plated armour.

are there any plans to add such clothing or something like that to the body armor?

That's completely understandable! I figured it might be a lot of work considering how detailed this is so if it's not on the radar don't feel pressured to change it. Grateful to have the mod as it is.

@Maprikan Terribly sorry for the late response. I'm gonna be honest, the mod is already very big for a cooked cosmetic mod, so adding about 289MB of tan textures (as well as another set of meshes) is not on top of the priority list just yet. Maybe I'll make a separate mod when I have the time to color correct the diffuse, because the models I have don't always come with tan textures.

@rnep1991 Okay, stop.

First off, many of the models are based on real-life references and words of advice from an actual service member. If somebody decides to put an ammo pouch on the left cummerbund, then I'll keep that pouch. If a Marine explains how he puts all his ammo on the vest, then I'll recreate it as faithfully as possible. I do have some creative control over my models (I can't be gear-correct all the time and I've already burned enough cash for this mod), but ultimately the setups come from how people set their vests in real life.

Second, your proposed changes heavily damage the setups' key characteristics. Take the MCB Auto Rifle Set 3. You're basically asking me to remove the machine gun boxes' pouches out of the gunner's vest. Regular rifleman vests are supposed to have more mags and you're asking me to remove that?

And third, you're telling me to rip off half the mod.

I get that clipping is annoying, but that amount of changes is staggering.

Thanks for your amazing job. I see that you listen to the opinions of the community. I kindly ask you to remove the pouches with magazines from under your left armpit in lv119 multicam black assaulter setup 1, avs multicam black rifleman setup 1 and 2, avs multicam black automatic rifleman setup 3, mvs multicam, avs multicam black automatic rifleman setup 2, avs multicam rifleman setup 2, vs multicam assaulter setup 3. Another suggestion is to make several versions of body armor with an empty back panel so that a grenade launcher and launcher can be used Thanks again for your hard work)

Awesome mod! Any chance of getting the L5 Jacket and combat shirt for Female operators?

good job on the last update! Can you to remove the pouches from under the arms from all body armor so that they don't go through the arms?
rnep1991 2 May @ 12:06pm
in all where there is a pouch for magazines under the arm. Because they pass through the characters' hands
GospelofBrowning  [author] 1 May @ 9:03pm
@rnep1991 So, what pouch from which vest do you want to remove?
