First off, many of the models are based on real-life references and words of advice from an actual service member. If somebody decides to put an ammo pouch on the left cummerbund, then I'll keep that pouch. If a Marine explains how he puts all his ammo on the vest, then I'll recreate it as faithfully as possible. I do have some creative control over my models (I can't be gear-correct all the time and I've already burned enough cash for this mod), but ultimately the setups come from how people set their vests in real life.
Second, your proposed changes heavily damage the setups' key characteristics. Take the MCB Auto Rifle Set 3. You're basically asking me to remove the machine gun boxes' pouches out of the gunner's vest. Regular rifleman vests are supposed to have more mags and you're asking me to remove that?
And third, you're telling me to rip off half the mod.
I get that clipping is annoying, but that amount of changes is staggering.
