Just to clarify, will this reduce the overall number of children being born, hence increasing difficulty for players somewhat?

This is the only one of my mods that I wouldn't use with EK2 for now as it makes people with the lifespan traits basically infertile. I will make a built in compatch at some point, but for now, all of my mods except for this one are totally compatible

I appreciate your approach to difficulty! Do you reckon this would be compatible with EK2, like some of your other mods?

You should have some men get the impotent trait after 50. It doesn't make sense that many of them still get it up, there was no Viagra in the middle ages.

They are minimal, such as altering the randomness around the base fertility and changing certain multipliers. Just things that are difficult to describe in the description as to exactly what they do. But ultimately they are just an additional nudge to the balancing.
