Description


How it works?
  • You can control the ship from the seat in the command bridge. Use the WSAD keys to steer the ship, and the logic gates (arranged like arrows) show how the engine room is working.
  • You can control the main artillery from the so-called Main Artillery Plotting Room (you can find it on the room plan). The artillery uses the DADAS system, which takes a moment to learn but is very simple and efficient.
    Keybinds:
    • LMB - fire; RMB - activate DADAS;
    • 1,2 - cameras;
    • 3 - ammo type switch;
    • 4 - turret camera tracking;
    • 5 - rangefinder camera tracking;
    • 6,7,8 - Manual angle change;
    • 9 - DADAS camera tracking switch;
  • Anti-aircraft defense is controlled from AA directors.
    Keybinds:
    • LMB - Fire front mounts; RMB - Fire rear mounts;
    • 1 - Camera tracking;
    • 2,3 - Mounts cameras;
  • Torpedo launchers are controlled from the Torpedo tubes director.
    Keybinds:
    • 1 - Camera tracking;

    • 3,4,5 - Launch torpedo;
  • Secondary guns are controlled form the Secondary Battery Plotting room.

Roleplay description:
Several years after the launch of OCvC Triumphant, the final ship of the Victorious-class, the fleet's leadership signed off on a plan to split the cruiser line. This change allowed heavy cruisers to be relieved of certain duties, which were assigned to mega cruisers. This reorganization enabled the reduction in size and armament of the heavy cruisers, making them lighter and more cost-effective to produce. As a result, the fleet could build these ships in greater numbers, significantly extending its operational reach.

Following the development of plans for the "HC8," the keel for OCvC Monarch was laid. Initial testing revealed the ship to be far more effective than anticipated. Although slower and sitting lower in the water than originally planned, the Monarch demonstrated exceptional durability. After making adjustments to displacement, the ship also proved to be highly stable and remarkably resistant to torpedo strikes.



Specification:
  • Main artillery: A total of three triple WZ.5 TM 210mm/26b turrets, two on the bow and one on the stern. A new turret from the WZ. family has been introduced, this time featuring smaller 210mm guns but in greater numbers.
  • Anti-aircraft armament: Ten NFZS-H-4CP anti-aircraft mounts and two NFZS-H-2C mounts. Very, VERY good anti-aircraft defense.
  • Secondary armament: Four EM-4L 105mm/12b DHEM guns, two per side. No fanfare. The focus was on a proven design that combines simplicity with low overall weight.
  • Torpedo tubes: Two SSTL17 M3 launchers, one per side.
  • Maneuverability: The ship has a maximum speed of 32 knots, with a cruising speed dependent on the rest of the team. The ship is decently maneuverable, and the rudder is pretty responsive.
  • Armor: Standard "All or Nothing" armor layout. Additionally, the deck has been reinforced, and the citadel has been strengthened at its critical point to protect the engines.



Name origin:
The name "Monarch" symbolizes power, authority, and prestige. It reflects the ship's dominance, commanding presence, and ability to lead, while evoking awe and intimidation—qualities befitting such a formidable vessel.

WARNING: For some reason I can't update the ship, main artillery is broken due to mod update, we are sorry.
If you really want do fix that just set penetration to 0 (in all cannons) - temporary fix but the easiest one.
