I will be answering some potential questions in regards to reviving this project in particular:

Why technically revive the project?

In retrospect, Pacific Map Project, which is a project I ultimately abandoned in 2022, isn't my favorite. I enjoyed making them at the time, but unfortunately due to me rushing everything out the door without a second thought of what to polish up, it ended up a mess imo. The only maps I enjoyed outta that project to this day were Khalkhin Gol, Java, and Java Sea, as well as some of Galahad's work, but I honestly think most of the maps I especially had made could use a rework, thus Pacific Map Project Redux was born, which is to essentially rework most if not all of the maps I had made during that run. Now don't expect me to go to sheer lengths to push these out as much as I did, because I know a lot better than to push out that sort, I cannot make any promises like I did last time, since it may be a massive undertaking for me. However, do expect me to take my time with these, as this one took around 3 days of on and off work, which I know is not a lot of time, but I worked with what I had, and I ended up enjoying this one more so than what I had originally made back in 2020 so there's that lol.

What about your WW2 Map Series?

My WW2 Map Series will most likely be abandoned as I really do not want to bite off more than I can chew, plus I started feeling like it was that way when I was looking at how many battles I had to do. Now, I am not opposed to the idea, but when I do get interest and motivation to continue with PMP after the redux is complete, I will possibly look into making a collection of all the WW2 maps I (and some potential people who want to work on this) had made once PMP is finished.

Any upcoming maps for the project?

Guam - 1944 is going to be a variant of this map, and I do have plans to remake my Kota Bharu map, having learned from making both the RF and ER2 maps I made of that, even if the former was kinda crap, and the latter not working properly anymore oof. However, don't expect those for a while unless I have the motivation to continue with them.

Assets Used:

- Battlefield 1942, 2, BG42 assets
- Game Buff's 2500+ textures
- Tree.it assets

I don't own anything, all rights go to those who had made them.
