Planet Size, display!

Description
Makes all celestial bodies (planets and stars) display their planet size.

Ever wondered how big your Gas Giant is? Now you can see it. I never understood why it was hidden in the first place.

Still works in 4.0 --> Planet sizes can now be found under the 'management' tab of a planet, near where the terraform button would be found.
_________________________________

This is achieved by giving all planet classes a terraform option into themselves (that can never be done). Because for some reason the game only displays planet sizes for celestial bodies that can be terraformed.

Yeah, that is just silly, showing object size should really just be part of the the base game for all celestial bodies.

Sadly the devs said they need proof that the extra terraforming classes don't negatively impact performance of the game.
To me that just translates to "I'm busy. Don't wanna." So continue using this mod it is I guess.

I'll ping some devs of Gigas and see if we can get it built into Gigas.
Either way, I'll definitely leave this mod lying around, if only for legacys sake. And people who don't play with gigas and want the Info.

Apologies for the delay, I left for some holidays just as the 4.0 update kicked in.

The windows have changed drastically in the new update, so I understand the confusion about the mod being broken. Where Planet sizes display has however simply been moved.

*** The mod still works, no changes needed. ***

=> select the 'management' tab on a planet and roughly in the center of the screen, the planet size is displayed.

I won't bother updating the supported version number, since afaik the mod works for all versions of the game.

Just a heads-up for everyone wanting this mod, it actually DOES still work. I'm using it on 4.0 right now

Yell at us when you update this. I'm shocked it's not integrated into mods like Gigastructural Engineering.

if you do update it for 4.0, please upload a legacy 3.14 version too so we can use it before 4.0 is finished in 8 months

Thanks for the heads up that the mod is broken. I'll have a look when I find the time :)

4.0 broke this, unfortunately :(

Useful for figuring out which planets are worth terraforming with mods that let you terraform miscellanious lifeless planets
