Slow Mo like F.E.A.R
I created this guide inspired by this discussion: "Any way to add slow mo like FEAR?"
And no, it doesn't feel exactly like FEAR, but it was fun trying. I hope you like it!
Open the console
Ctrl + Alt + ~ (tilde)
⇢ If your keyboard is not a US layout, "tilde" may be the key below Esc.
Bind a shortcut
Formulas to bind and unbind a key:
bind [key] "toggle timescale [slow motion value] [default value]; toggle pm_speed [slow motion value] [default value]" unbind [key]
Suggestion:
bind t "toggle timescale 0.4 1; toggle pm_speed 350 160"
Values for reference:
　Slow Motion:　　　　　　　　　
　Default:　 　　　　　　　　　　
　Time Scale:
　0.4
　1
　Player Speed:　　　　　　　
　350
　160
How to use
Press "t" (or the key you chose to bind) to toggle between the slow and default motion.
Backup
If you need to revert back to the defaults completely, just open the console and type:
timescale 1 pm_speed 160 unbind t 　 　 　⤷ or the key you chose to bind.
⇢ Whenever you want to check if a command is in default, just type the command alone and hit Enter, so the console will show you the value plus a brief info about what the command does.
