Contagion Workshop Working Escape Maps

How to install properly:
0.) Disable using in-game Addons menu or remove (Unsubscribe) if you have any of these:

1.) Add (Subscribe) items in collection one by one from up to down.
2.) Wait item to download before adding next.
3.) After all items downloaded launch the game.
4.) Check items number and order.
5.) If you see not all items restart Steam. Wait for downloads end. Launch the game. Check again.
6.) If you see wrong order (Last one item (Visual Bugs Fix) must be on top) open "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Contagion\contagion\addonlist.txt", edit and save like (There can be another of your Workshop items in the list!):

"Ones" (1) - means enabled Addons. "Zeros" (0) - means disabled Addons.
Built-in Steam game Workshop items order menu will not help you in Contagion.

You need All: Maps and Content Packs (13.7GB).
For some reason Workshop items for Contagion are stored in same files in 2 locations!
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\238430
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Contagion\contagion\addons
So actual content size is 13.7GB * 2 = 24.7GB.
Sometimes in 3 locations if Steam/Game works wrong.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Contagion\contagion\workshop\content\238430
So content size can occupy 13.7GB * 2 = 41.1GB.

If you still have troubles you can try to clean all 3 Workshop locations.

Apr 2025 (2.3.0.1.1)
Content packs causes visual bugs with characters/objects models, particles/effects of water, fire, smoke, etc on all maps including default game maps.
All maps were tested (successfully finished without cheats) by me, friends and strangers. All works. "Highschool of the Zed" is buggy often.

08 Aug 2025 (2.3.0.1.5)
Updated collection. Removed "Distribution Center [Christmas Edition]"
due to file collision problems with "Special Delivery" Replaced old "HOTZ" map and resources packs with new one standalone version. Added Fix for visual bugs. Maps have not been tested after last update (Game got new Physics Engine).
