Raccoons In Trash Cans [B42]

Description
FORMERLY "Early Raccoons [B42 ANIMAL]", the below description is untouched but will be changed later since this mod is being repurposed, not removed.

[ Now you can play with Raccoons early, before The Indie Stone finishes them. ]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TO LOCATE:
- 15% chance to spawn one when walking near a trash can / dumpster.
- Traps (may be buggy).
- Random spawns where poultry / farms are (may be buggy).

DISCLAIMER:
There's a reason raccoons aren't already fully in the game. So far I have yet to see anything game breaking, but beware. Also this mod will become outdated by the end of Build 42's release.

PLANS & REQUESTS:
- Turn the percent chance to spawn into a sandbox option.
- Trash cans and dumpsters can only spawn one raccoon, then never do it again. I'll work on finding a way to do this differently so after enough time any trash can can regenerate its raccoon.

- Make the Raccoon head into a 3D object
- Raccoons can steal items from you
- Fix Raccoon butchering
- Make raccoons bigger (a more realistic size)
- Make Raccoons tameable by feeding
- Add a crafting recipe for the raccoon hat

I wish I had more information on this. However, after some troubleshooting, it seems that your mod stops all farm animals from spawning. The Raccoons work well with trashcan spawns though. This took me a while to figure out as it doesn't throw any errors. As far as I can tell one of the new updates (I'll blame B42_12 as that broke a ton of mods) seems to be the problem. Hope this helps and you can fix it soon!

@yotri ✠ The mod added raccoons spawning in trash cans (raccoons previously had no vanilla way of spawning, but existed), but The Indie Stone added vanilla spawning mechanics. Didn't change this mod though besides updating the title because there's still no trash can spawn mechanics in the base game.

@Ick That might be an easter egg or bug with the base game for some reason lol

So not sure if this is due to any other mod but a raccoon always spawns in the echo creek gas station bathroom upstairs, nice to have a friend but dont think its meant to do that lol

As I understand it, this mod was released in the game by developers?

@MonkeyShark Well, I have caught two Raccoon by luck and getting close enough to box them in and pick them up. (So it is very possible.) Perhaps, if you allowed the feeding mechanic to trigger a "duplicate" Raccoon and destroy the first you could end up with a passive raccoon instead of the "wild" raccoon. This is all guesswork though. I hope I could help possibly.:spiffo:

@ChuckOregon™ Feel free to give suggestions on how it should work. Depending on the complexity the engine might make it really hard, but I do think that'd be the best way to go about it.

I would love for the tameable feature to come back if you can ever get around to it. Maybe a stand alone Love your mods, thanks for letting us see raccoons early.:deadrat:
