In the time before, there were Two.

Two beings….
who breathed the stars - who forged the earth.

Lady Mylva, bound by a powerful light to guide the souls of all beings.
Lord Ystraad, consumed by the deep dread of the abyssal curse.

Thus the realm of Bradia was conceived, bringing life into the universe. But with life, comes death. The Lord and Lady passed and their magic flooded into the realm, birthing two sisters who would inherit the world and bloom life on Bradia.

Astrea, Soul of the Moon, reaper of souls.
Astrea, the despair of the abyss from Lord Ystraad.

For centuries, Evalore and Astrea battled tirelessly over the right to Bradia. The two celestials eventually grew tired of war and settled, becoming the sun and moon that share the sky and abyss. A cycle of light and dark, life and death gave way to an Age of Beasts in the natural world. For a short period of time, Bradia knew true peace... until Nere was born.

Nere, the First Child of Bradia.
Nere, who split their soul into five pieces and gave life to the races of mortal.

Lyss, breathed from the Stars.
Hollow, infused by the magic of Bradia itself.
Orian, built from the ground up.
Beastkin, of Beast and Nere in harmony.

Mortals of all type flooded the realm of Bradia. The five races united as one people to create vast kingdoms that connected all mortals.
A golden age of civilization emerged.

The Champions of Evalore, mortals blessed by Evalore’s light, guided the five races through the Golden Age for generations. The kingdoms of mortals flourished under the protection of the Champions of Evalore.

The Demons of Astrea, soulless husks of once great Champions, burn with hatred for the mortal world, their bodies trapped in eternal damnation. These demons eventually found their way into the mortal world to wreak havoc.

A war began, of Champions and Demons, bringing the golden era to a halt. Civilizations crumbled to ashes in the wake of magic fueled warfare. The age of mortal was over.

Bradia, now infested by Demons and corruption, provided safety no longer for mortals. The kingdoms were shattered by an age of darkness.

And so the cycles continue on…
