"You need to cut the tree," said the Wizard as he entered the Great Hall of King Pigheaded.

The King himself, along with all the invited citizens, was surprised by his sudden appearance. The Wizard hadn’t been seen in years, and here he was, interrupting the Autumn festivities.

King Pigheaded straightened, his posture growing serious as he moved through his people. There was no need to specify which tree; everyone knew the Wizard was referring to the ancient, seeping oak, the source of the town's prosperity. The King had been collecting a magical turquoise liquid for untold ways to profit.

"We can’t do that, and we won’t. Throw that Wizard out of my sight before I take care of him myself!"

The mysterious Wizard wasn’t the first to sense the darkness growing beneath the town’s roots, waiting to emerge on a full moon night. A few weeks later, it happened. The witchery awoke and reclaimed all it had given, transforming the precious castle city into the Witch's new quarters: Spellbound Town.
