(6) Bataille de Givet

Description
[WIP MAP]

The Bataille de Givet is a 3v3 map that try to recreate the relief and infrastructure of the Givet region, north of the French Ardennes, as it may have appeared in May 1940. A city steeped in history, where Étienne Nicolas Méhul is from and his Chant du départ, the Gambier smoke pipes, the Gilbert pencils, and the blue stone.

You are projected to the heart of the Pointe, in one of the first French cities hit by the German army during the offensive of Plan Manstein. Hold bridges over the Meuse, secure winding roads in the countryside, lead ambushes in the narrow streets of the city and exploit its ancient fortifications to your advantage.

The battlefield revolves around the valley of the Meuse River, a river crossing the city from south to north. Two main bridges connect the city: a road bridge and a railway bridge, both highly strategic. In addition to a third, at the level of the Porte de France, which is a temporary military bridge (not historical).

The map can be divided into four large areas, the Grand Givet (Saint Hilaire) left bank, the Petit Givet (Notre Dame) right bank, the village of Rancennes right bank, and finally the Fort de Charlemont left bank, which overlooks the city. A team has its base on the left bank (historically on the French side), in the fort and on the lower bank near the city. The other team is located together at the entrance of the little Givet (historically on the German side).

Très belle carte, ville et cartographie proche du réel.
Beau travail pour une première carte Astarb !

Made a game, immediately the teams "swapped" (Everyone on T2 joined T1), the Minimap doesn't work and just shows a bunch of glitched out squares

Yes I know, all dirt basic road splines are placeholder to put clean specific type of road. But hanks for your report :cozybethesda:

A lot of your splines have the default tiling of 10 which isnt the optimal tiling for the texture so they look very streched. To fix this expand the spline, select the strip component and right click on "tiling" and then "reset" to set the optimal tiling for the texture.
