Cheese, Minced Meat, Sausages, and More!

Welcome to my first mod, where I bring delicious new recipes to your game! I found it necessary to expand upon vanilla recipes by adding new ingredients and cooking options.

Added recipes

Name

Steps

Berry Wine

• Collect 4 berries using foraging.
• Pound the berries in a mortar and pestle.
• Prepare for fermentation: take sugar, the mashed berries, and a jar with a lid.
• Wait ~14 days until fermentation is complete, then retrieve the berry wine.

Sugar

• Find sugar beet seeds, plant them, grow them, and harvest the crop.
• Chop 3 sugar beets with a knife.
• Heat the chopped sugar beets until they are ready.
• Pound the dried beets in a mortar and pestle to get sugar.

Yeast

• Collect 3 mushrooms using foraging.
• Pound the mushrooms in a mortar and pestle to create 3 yeast starters.
• Prepare yeast mixture: using the 3 yeast starters, a jar, a lid, and water.
• Wait ~10 days until the yeast is ready, then extract it.

Vinegar

• Take beer, cider, any wine (including berry wine), a jar, and prepare vinegar.
• Wait 20 days for fermentation to finish, then retrieve the vinegar.

intestines

• Drops out of any animals except small ones (rats and mice, for example).
• Can be dried on any dryers.
• It is used for cooking sausages.

Beef Jerky

• Beef slices are made from a piece of beef or steak.
• Can be dried on any dryers.

Cheese

• The cheese mixture is made from milk, salt, vinegar or lemon juice.
• Boil the mixture and strain it through a cheese cloth.
• Add cheese to your pizza ;3

Minced meat

• Any knife and any meat except fish. (because pieces of fish can reach huge sizes)
• It is now used to create sausages.

Lard

• Need to slice the pork and heat it.
• 5 pork rinds and lard fall out.
• It is used in the preparation of sausages.

Pancakes

• Now it is made from milk, eggs and flour.
• It turns out 5 pancakes

Lemon juice

• Lemons can be found by Gathering.
• It is used in the preparation of cheese and mayonnaise.

Jam

• You can use any 3 fruits and sugar in the preparation.
• It can be preserved in a Jar for 365 days. The shelf life in a saucepan is 30 days.

Tomato paste

• It is made from 3 tomatoes, salt and sugar.
• It can be preserved in a Jar for 365 days.

Marinara

• 3 tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil or oregano and salt
• It can be preserved in a Jar for 365 days.

Buns, tortillas

• Make Buns and tortillas for burgers, burritos, tacos, and hot dogs even late in the game!
• To make a burger and the rest, you just need to select the ingredients in the context menu.

Sausages

• Now you can make sausage from minced meat, intestines and lard.
• Regular sausages are now used in hot dog crafting.
• To make salami, you need to dry it on any dryer.

Potato Pancakes

• Now you can make potato pancakes.

Bacon

• A piece of pork makes 10 slices of bacon.

New Intestines
• Can be dried on any dryer (both herb and animal skin dryers, regardless of size). 
• Dropped from all animals except small chickens, small turkeys, and small raccoons. 
• Required for crafting sausages.
New Sausage Recipes
• Baloney / Salami / Sausage – Salami must be dried on the dryer, just like intestines!
New Meat Products
• Added Ham recipe. 
• Added Sausages. 
• Minced Meat. 
• Lard and Pork Rinds. 
• Increased meat yield when butchering animals (let me know if it's too much, I can adjust it!).
New Dairy Products
• Added Cheese recipe.
New Condiments
• Added Marinara and Tomato Paste recipes.
New Baked Goods
• Burger Buns. 
• Hot Dog Buns. 
• Tortillas for tacos. 
• Burrito tortillas. 
• Potato pancakes. 
• Egg and milk pancakes.
Fruit Jam Recipe
• Full cooking cycle with a storage duration of 365 days. 
• When used, the saucepan, jar, and lid are returned (depending on usage).

How to cook a burger and everything else
To make a hot dog, burger, taco, or burrito, simply right-click on the buns or tortillas and add the necessary ingredients!

Thanks again for adding my previous suggestion!
If it’s not too much trouble, I’d love to share a few more ideas that came to mind:

1️⃣ Lime as an alternative to Lemon Juice
Since lime is also a citrus fruit that can be found through foraging,
I thought it might make sense to allow lime to be used in the Lemon Juice recipe as well.
It feels like a natural extension, so I’d appreciate it if you could consider it. 🍋

2️⃣ Rice Vinegar (Base.RiceVinegar)
According to general proportions, rice vinegar used for sushi is made from about
1L of water, 160g of sugar, 12g of salt, and 200ml of vinegar.
If something similar could be implemented, it might make long-term survival gameplay
more interesting by letting players enjoy more vanilla-style recipes. 🍚

3️⃣ Tofu (Base.Tofu)
It would be amazing to see tofu made from soybeans (Base.Soybeans) as a vanilla-style recipe.
Traditionally, tofu is made by blending soybeans with water, straining it through a cloth,
and then curdling it with a solution of salt and vinegar.
Maybe ingredients like soybeans, a mortar, cheesecloth, salt, and vinegar could work together for this recipe. 🍲

I got a bit carried away with excitement after seeing your passion for this mod,
so I just wanted to share a few ideas!
I really hope this doesn’t come across as bothersome —
thank you again for your awesome work and dedication! 🙏

@galkinzhenia, Butchering Animals Plus. - несовместим точно. мод несовместим с другими модами, которые влияют на дроп мяса + новый лут из животных и прочее. там полностью заменяется файл игры, поэтому это никак не исправить. (у меня если что увеличенное количество мяса)

Vanilla Foods Expanded. - насчет этого не знаю, делай выводы по тому что я написала

I missed strawberries in my recipes))

The mod has been updated:

- Strawberries have been added to the jam recipe.

-Added peanut butter recipe

-Added peanuts to the granola bar recipe

If possible, could you also let the “Make Fruit Jam” recipe use regular strawberries, not only wild berries (like the Wine Base one does)?
