Tempered Classes

PLACE THIS MOD AT THE *BOTTOM* OF YOUR LOAD ORDER.

Although this pack was compiled by myself (Worlds), all classes have been made from the ground-up by other people, and they will be credited further below.

The idea behind this class pack stemmed from looking at other class packs. What I noticed in doing so was that many class packs didn't really align with my subjective preferences for the game, namely because they suffered from any of the following issues:

-Redundancy with preexisting classes
-Severely unbalanced/overpowered
-Low effort put into the visual quality
-Lack of variety in the utility of the classes (i.e. what 'distinguishes' one class from another in terms of what it brings to the table both for solo and GROUP play)
-Thematically unbefitting of the Torchlight II universe

So, I sought to correct most of this, especially by upholding a philosophy which allows for classes to express traditional RPG archetypes, i.e. that there should exist classes capable of 'DPSing', of 'Tanking', and of 'Supporting', primarily with the interest of group play/multiplayer parties in mind.


Anyways, here is the list of classes as well as their respective authors. Where many other packs go overboard with a ton of new classes, I tried to keep the amount more 'tempered', so as to create a balanced feeling, hence the name of the modpack (note that all of the classes included have been considered based on viability for Synergies + elite difficulty. Bear in mind that some class concepts have already been accounted for by Synergies, and so, have not been included here):
