KKs Secret Test Platform WW2

Description
This is a test platform for mods I’m working on. It’s where I test maps, factions, units, and other ideas in multiplayer before releasing them as standalone mods. Everything here is beta or work-in-progress, but it’s all tested locally, so it should work fine. If you’re looking for experimental content you can help guide the direction of or just want to play some fun, unfinished maps, you’re in the right place.

Right now, the content is just frontlines maps, like:

2v2 Barbarossa [Slim]
A slight rework of the 1v1 ‘Operation Barbarossa’ frontlines map.

2v2 Hedgerow [Slim]
Pulled from single player map then modified and added to.

The file size might grow later as I add more stuff—like units, factions, and dynamic campaign features—but for now, I’m sticking to maps. This mod exists mainly to see if any weird bugs show up in multiplayer that wouldn’t pop up in local testing.

If you’ve got feedback, ideas, or suggestions—especially for balancing—let me know in the comments! I’m open to hearing your thoughts as this is a test platform before I make standalone mods with the final files.

FAQ

What does the [Slim] tag mean, and why?
Slim just means the map is slimmer (not as wide) as the normal-sized map. How I do this is usually using the same size profile of the map below, so 2v2’s instead have the same map size as the 1v1. Personally, I felt that when playing with people, you were having your own mini battles, and it wasn’t very cooperative, so I made things closer to fix that. Now it’s a bit more supportive of each other.

Is your mod compatible with other mods?
It should be. I personally play the maps with Valor, Valor Overhaul, and a mod that increases CP. I’ve tried to make the mod agnostic and standalone.

Do I need the DLC?
No. As of right now you don't need them

good idea! i tried with increasing ressources, but this variant seems to be nice too to solve the gameplay going more into cooperation at battle
