[B42] Essential Recipes [UPDATED]

Description


With the arrival of animals, I missed having food available for them all the time, without having to rely on a huge plantation.
With that in mind, I created this mod for new recipes, which are few at the moment, but over time I will create them according to the needs of the community and myself.

All recipes can be found in the crafting menu: Essential
It was necessary to create a new crafting tab to avoid future conflicts with other recipe mods.



What the Essential Recipes mod features:
• Now, in the culinary field, you can extract sugar from fruits, create yeast from fruits, create baking soda by electrolysis (in a simplified way), grind candy to become sugar, create wine vinegar and create salt using limestone (in a simplified way)
• In the crafting area, you can now make paint, mix paints to get other colors, create electrical tape and fiberglass tape, tarp, glue, wood glue, two types of generators, motion sensor (more coming soon)
• And in the tools tab, you can now craft hooks, fishing needles, mops and whetstone (more coming soon)
• And of course, you can now recycle a variety of items, such as bulletproof vests, electrical wires, soda and beer cans, analog clocks, toolboxes, broken glass panels (more coming soon)
• You can now craft mechanical items such as Jack, Battery Charger and Spare Engine Parts!
• You can craft attachments for your weapons, including x2 scopes, ammo strips, tritium sights (pistol sights) and gun light. (more coming soon)

[UPDATE 24/08]
• It is now possible to craft nails and screws from scrap and unusable metal, paper from twigs, electrical wire from scrap copper, tissue paper from paper, and wood glue from twigs.



If you have a new recipe idea that you think is missing or maybe you want me to use a tool or item that there is no recipe for, suggest it in the comments, I will be checking them all out.

I believe it should not cause errors or conflicts, since it is just a new recipe, I will always be testing it.

With each mod update, the changes will be detailed in the changelog!

I don't know if this is conflicting with something else or what, but this mod makes it so I can't even load the game with this mod enabled since the last update.

Any chance of adding recycling of socks and underwear and some other stuff that isnt recycable usually?

Can you add a way to make Crude Tweezers? I'd like to see them made with some wire and metal or something. When you're in the woods, not finding tweezers can get you killed with the bandits mod enable because you get shot more.

Can you add making a few nails or screws from a pile of scrap metal? Sometimes, I just really need a couple nails and I have all this metal and tools, but I don't have forging yet.

We also need a way to make Concrete! Quicklime, gravel, sand, and water!

Hey dude -- I'm seeing this debug log line related to Essential Recipes. It's probably some sort of formatting?

WARN : Script f:0, t:1742082626582> ScriptModule.CreateFromTokenPP > unknown script object "import" in 'media/scripts/items_essentialrecipes.txt'.

there were two other mods with the same sort of message.
