Description
Description

A massive 500 x 500km terrain based on the arctic archipelago of Svalbard.
The terrain is optimised for 40 000 meter view distance and intented for plane and helicopter gameplay.
Towns are mostly accurate to their real life counterparts but some fictional details like expanded ports and airstrips have been added.

Update: 19. 1.

All airstrips have been remade and now have more accurate textures rendered from far away, runway lights and they are configured for AI pilots to land and take off. Apologies for releasing the map with incomplete airstrips.

Mid detail texture added for better looking ground from a medium distance

Fixed oil rig ladders.

Update: 21. 4.

Removed supermassive black hole at the top of the map and added key

Update: 6. 5.

Fixed ports and oilrig that were messed up by heightmap changes from previous update

@Crook this is because Arma has trouble calculating positions with a gigantic map. The engine is not really designed for a map this size.

I don't know why, but the aircraft are behaving like they are on a slip and slide and sliding around on the ground while I'm taxing to the runway

Hey man, is it possible to rework grids on the map? Because when I for example use NAV system in my F/A-18E BETA Hornet and I want to type grid of the waypoint, it shows me on the display totally different location. There are just multiple different locations which have the same grid.
