Successor Wars - Part 1

Description
OVERVIEW
Successor Wars is an overhaul mod that focuses on the earlier wars of the Diadochi (among other coinciding conflicts). This mod uses the Imperator Augustus map, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the Successor Wars to the East and the Samnite Wars to the West without feeling too crowded. Futhermore, everything has been entirely overhauled to match the setting—diplomacy, regional names, family trees, etc—along with the addition of 40 new factions, all of which have been built from scratch.

CAMPAIGN
- 18 playable factions currently, all with historically accurate family trees (where applicable)
- 4 TPY
- Two new edicts, vanilla edict stats have also been minorly tweaked
- Factions gain more loot from sacking, razing, and liberating to incentivize their uses
- New subculture for Celts south of the Alps to distinguish them from the those in Gaul
- Seleukidai, Antipatridai, and Ptolemaioi have their missions overhauled. Still working on Antigonidai & Lysimakhoi
- Samnites and the Etruscans have an entirely new tech tree, tailored specifically for them from scratch (this took forever lol)
- When playing as the Diadochi, you now have the option to move your capital to Pella after occupying the settlement (for a small fee)
- Victory conditions have been set for all factions
- Autosave now works for every playable faction

RESKINS
16 historically reskined units for the Germanic culture, this also includes the shield patterns/colorations created by AveMetal, as well as brand new custom skins for the following cultures:
- Etruscan Generals
- Cisalpine Gaulish Generals
- Punic Generals
- Roman Generals
- Greek Generals
- Most Brittonic Generals

ROSTER CHANGES
- Antigonid, Lysimachid, Antipatrid, Etruscans, and Samnites have an overhauled roster. Working on the Seleucids and the Ptolemaics to complete the Diadochi reforms
- Added Campanian Cavalry to the Samnites, both as a general unit and recruitable at lvl 4 of the Horse chain
- Added Lucanian Ambushers to Samnites also, recruitable at lvl 3 of the military chain
- More vanilla units added to the Cisalpine Gauls' roster

LOCAL CHANGES
- All faction names are now endonymic, meaning they’re the native term for themselves instead of the latinized version (inspired from mods like DEI and EBII). There are exceptions, however.
- Proto-Germanic inspired names for all Germanic characters, agents, and armies.
- Hellenic names closer to the original Greek, i.e. less-latinized Greek
- Celtic and Punic character names no longer latinized + additional historical names added
- The Samnite, Germanic, and Gaulish religious buildings have been supplemented/adjusted for more historical accuracy

@Pontifex No problem, after trying a few times I made peace with Kush and continue playing without any problem so I dont think is a corrupt save file issue. Also it only happened when I chose to fight manually, the auto-resolve works just fine

@ΑΝΑΞ Beautiful, continue to update on your progress please!

@ZONE That's strange, first time I've heard that one. I'll do some testing to see what's going on but I appreciate you letting me know

Awesome mod but I think Kush is bugged, Im playing a campaign with the Antigonidai and when I tried to fight Kush in the battlefield the game crash, then I reload to a previous save to fight them and it crashed again. It only happens with that faction the rest of them works perfectly fine

@jose Again much appreciated, that means more than you know!

@Ana Glad to hear one of the Diadochi specifically have given you that experience. Let me know if you have any suggestions or comments from the campaign please

Finished with Selefkides. I liked it all. The beginning was tough defending from all sides. But the phalanx prevails! Maybe I'll give it another go with the Lysimachoi. Again, good job!!
