This mod is designed for players who want to play ETS2 with a greater realism within the scope of the game's basic capabilities.

The working time has changed from 11 hours to 9 hours in line with EU regulations, but only the principle of the basic cycle for driving and rest. Due to the constraints of the game, no exceptions allowed by the legislation are implemented, i.e. driving up to 10 hours, breaks of 45 minutes, maximum driving time for 1 week and for the last two weeks, etc.
The rest period has been changed from 9 hours to 3 hours and 40 minutes because the EU regulation imposes 11 hours (in basic cycle) and some players want to take advantage of the shorter break more than once. Three times 3:40 is 11 hours. Sleeping in the rest area can be used a maximum of 3 times in the game, thus maximizing the expected 11 hours. However, since a shorter rest period may be useful, the 1/3 of the full rest period option is chosen.
Applicable for scenarios:

• You are playing a role-play game and need to wait for a window when cargo can be brought to the depot.
  
• You are playing a role-play game and sometimes want to use the time shift, e.g. for a longer rest (24h cycle), then after a triple rest (11h) you shift the time by the amount of time you want (requires having the developer console enabled) and you can rest again for 3h and 40 minutes, a fraction of the full rest.

Because the working time has been reduced by 20%, rest time is very short, the time for order deadlines has been increased for 9 hours of driving and 11 hours of sleeping. That's why the average speed for delivery times has been changed from 62.0 km/h to 33.8 km/h. Side effect of this - hired drivers can be 46% slower than the non-mod version.

Warning: On some specific routes, the delivery time may be shorter than the actual 9h driving and 11h resting time. This has not happened in testing so far. The tested deliveries were of distances of about 350 km, 750 km, 950 km, 1100 km, 1500 km, 2500 km, 3100 km from different cities to different destinations. So far, the time for delivery with an average trip has always fit into the time for the standard mode of 9h driving and 11h rest.


This mod does not require any special settings. This mod works when fatigue simulation is enabled.


Mod is compatible with versions: 1.56.*, 1.55.*, 1.54.*, 1.53.*


The mod has not been tested with any other than the base map, vanilla trucks and in single player mode. All other variants are not tested and supported (multiplayer, modded trucks, etc.).

The mod is not compatible with other game economy mods (although it changes the same game file).
