"Ice Conquest"

The Ice Kingdom, surrounded by eternal snowy mountains, was ruled by King Arden, a legendary warrior who fought the darkness and protected his lands from all threats. However, his heart stopped beating one winter night. It was said that the cold itself took him to itself, so that he could become part of the eternal guard of the northern lands.

After Arden's death, the kingdom was plunged into anxiety. His magic and power kept evil outside the walls. Now, with his departure, ancient enemies began to raise their heads. Among them were three powerful witches - the sisters of Morra. They lived in the forests on the border of the kingdom, where darkness and cold intertwined.

The Morras knew of a legend that was kept in the icy mountains: there, under the thickness of centuries-old ice, slept an ancient dragon named Freygard - the Guardian of Blizzards. It was said that he was the last being that could rival King Arden, and so he slept, bound by spells.

The Witches' Plan

The witches decided to awaken Freygard to use his power to conquer the Ice Kingdom. They believed that with his fire, which was stronger than ice, nothing could stand against them.

They set out for the icy mountains, carrying with them ancient manuscripts found in forgotten temples. The spells of awakening required a sacrifice, and each of the sisters gave a part of her soul to melt the ice around the dragon.

When Freygard awoke, his roar shook the mountains, and frosty winds swirled across the land. But the awakening was not what the witches expected - the dragon did not want to obey. He remembered his ancient feud with Arden and decided to destroy the kingdom himself.

The Last Defender

Despite Arden's death, his legacy lived on in his son, the young Prince Kaian. He gathered a band of loyal knights and set out to meet Freygard. From that moment on, the brave knights took on a new task - to drive the witches from their native lands and hold back the furious advance of the awakened Freygard. Will they cope with this test? We can only believe in their courage and hope for the best.

Hello everyone! I would like to share my impressions of creating a map for Witch It. This is my first full-fledged and, importantly, functional map. By participating in the contest, I, like each of you, dream of winning. However, regardless of the result, I sincerely wish good luck to every participant in the "Castle Catastrophe | Official Map Contest 2024."

As for my map, I admit that it turned out quite large. I don't have much experience in construction yet, so the size of the rooms and some of the castle buildings ended up larger than I originally planned. Unfortunately, this can no longer be fixed, but despite that, I am proud of what I have created. I really like the final result. Many thanks to the organizers for the opportunity to prove myself and gain valuable experience in map creation.
