LSLN Aethon Fast Recon Vehicle FRV

Named Aethon after the old Greek/Latin word for Blazing and often associated with Horses, most notably such as the horses of Helios, Ares, Hector, Pallas, Hades.

The Latest innovation of the Libertas Legion's Military comes from the Civilian World. Aethon was originally marketed as a rugged off-roading hover truck for the more tougher colonies located in mountainous, tundra or desert environments. Cheap and fast and reliable with excellent fuel efficiency made it popular among the civilian workforce, police and industrial sectors or rural populations requiring a mode of transport where infrastructure was limited. The Legionary council's military reform looking for convenient troop transports found it's answer, the name Aethon was chosen by soldiers who have reportedly taken to customizing their FRV's in camo patterns, emblems and insignia's, also furthermore modifications have been spotted such as armor and weapons with an official 'Armored Recon Vehicle' being produced. Now available via the LSLN Armories, shipping the basic model however the pioneers will be encouraged to make their customization to the Aethon.
