Answer: This mod is intended to fix bugs and enhance the overall game experience.

Question: Does this mod work in multiplayer?
Answer: Yes, but all the players in the room must have this mod installed and enabled.

UI improvements
  • Added hotkeys for most buildings.
  • Improved "Hotkeys" window; ability to assign P key.
  • New option "Button press effect".
  • New option "Highlight buttons on hover".
  • Hiding the UI during the game with the F6 key.
  • Enabling building transparency with the Shift+Q combination.
  • Moving the camera to the last event (building completion; attack) with the Space key.
  • Added confirmation when deleting a profile.
  • Fixed a bug where the screen resolution was not saved in the settings.
  • New option: Show "Quick load" button in the main menu
  • New option: Show "Achievements" button in the main menu
  • Close windows with the Esc key.
  • Open the menu during the game with the Esc key.
  • Fixed a bug where the player dropdown would close every four seconds when creating a multiplayer game.

UX and mechanics improvements
  • New option "Highlight idle mines".
  • New option "Alternative map dragging mode".
  • New option: "Do not enable repeating production on left-click for officers, drummers, and ferries".
  • New options "Highlight ships", "Prioritize ship selection".
  • Added the "Unload all units" button in the mine.
  • Displaying the amount of fish in the boat.
  • New option: Notify if player loses.
  • Replay: Show the number of units of each player above the minimap.
  • If Ctrl key is pressed, attempt to use ship's ranged weapons (for galleys and Turkish yachts).

Bug fixes
  • Fixed spawn points: on some maps, peasants from different players appeared next to each other.
  • Fix AI not building ports on water maps when the Map Shape is set to Single Continent, Coastal, or Random.
  • Fixed a bug where ships were sailing on land.
  • Fixed a bug with galleys and Turkish yachts that refused to attack a building if the target was at an intermediate distance between the first and second gun ranges.
  • Fixed a bug where the last unit refused to exit a mine or ferry.
  • Fixed a bug where the AI would send defenders across the seabed between islands. Buildings can now only be guarded if they can be reached by land.
  • Fix of stuck ships production in AI's ports.
  • Fixed selecting walls and gates in the list of buildings by Ctrl+B.
  • After cancel ship construction, its point on the minimap now disappears.

Custom Game improvements
  • Map preview has been added.
  • You can now select specific maps before starting a game.
  • Added the ability to choose spawn locations for peasants.
  • The total number of games played by each player in the room is now displayed.
  • Mortars option.
  • Naval units option.
  • Additional option for capture behavior.
  • Additional option "No Cannons, Towers, Walls and toughness upgrades".
  • New setting "When creating a multiplayer room, load AI players' settings".
  • It is now possible to create a room without a name.
  • The chat window has been improved: now it scrolls to the last message, holds more messages, and can be cleared.
  • Added chat settings: Displaying the time of messages in the chat, sound for message notifications.

Achievements
  • Added an achievements progress window.
  • Fixed achievements "The Thunderer", "To the bowels of Earth", "Sea sickness", "Turn the cannons!", "First blood", "Duelist", "Old warrior makes a wise warrior", "On your shield", "Frantic struggle", "Uneven chances", "Surrounded at all sides", "Captain", "Colonel", "Field marshal".

Meneldil, tbh, I’ve given up trying to beat those broken campaigns, so I never took a close look at campaign achievements, but I’ll investigate it. Maybe there’s a bug where the achievement isn’t updated until you start a Custom Game or save the profile?

Thanks aljesco. I know what I have to do, the achievement just won't trigger. I reinstalled the game, did the mission one more time and it worked. oh well, weird.

Hey Meneldil, many of the campaign achievements are difficult to obtain due to the imbalanced enemy numbers in some missions. However, "Slayer of Infidels" is relatively easy to achieve even without mods:
"Relieving Oryol from the siege is quite easy and yields good benefits, you can do it even using only your starting troops: in fact, as soon as you will attack the enemy, Oryol’s defenders will make a sally and help you defeat the besiegers; just use your Pikemen to protect your Strelets and you should be fine, the defenders will do all the heavy work.", probably this guide may be helpful https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=899956545

Hello aljesco, do you think you could fix more achievements? I'm unable to get Slayer of Infidels, no matter what I do in the first mission of the russian campaign.
