Ladies and gentlemens, I figured it out. You need to delete the file that is called charactermenu in the mod folder from this route. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3394731612\mods\improved-hair-menu\42\media\lua\client\z_improved_hair_menu . this well, disable the hair menu from the character creation, and keep it the game. have fun surviving in style.

In fact it is a folder "CharacterMenu". It should be pinned.

Installed and enabled this mod and now my main menu is completely broken. Cannot play. Do not download.

PSA this and Lifestyle: Hobbies are completely incompatible

This mod makes my main menu screen bug out and not show ANY of the buttons or anything at all, just the background.
I just went through all my B42 mods one by one to see which one was the issue, and when I activated this one, it bugged.

Do not download this mod, as other commenters have already pointed out it currently breaks the UI and makes the game unplayable. Save yourself some headache, and avoid.

This mod is still broken in Project Zomboid 42.10 unstable : some errors appears in the bottom right corner of the screen and make the main menu disappear ! I think the modder isn't playing PZ any more, this mod is dead guys :( o7
