It would be nice but it would also be an entirely different project, one that is way more complicated to implement :)
I'm not ready to dive into the world of Union plugins and I would have no idea where to even start with something like that.

The best I can do is give you the script I wrote to process the files. It requires python, ffmpeg and ffmpeg-normalize. You'll also have to repackage all the files yourself

wouldnt it be nice to have a .txt file containing the numerical value used to lower the audio? This way we could set the amount on our own

Maybe because its only 3dB I still feel it too loud.
And yes, I'm using workshop beta.

Nope, it shouldn't collide with anything besides other sound effect mods. But -3dB is still kinda loud, mind you - just less so. Best way to check is to compare the sounds for crawlers or the sword unsheathe sound - check with the mod enabled and with the mod disabled and see if you notice the difference.

And just to clarify - you're using the workshop beta branch of Gothic 2, right? With the fancy new launcher instead of the default one?

Is it colliding with any other kind of popular mods? like unions or d3d11? I know that Lound Sounds Reduced is a sound modification obviously, so any other kind of graphical mod shouldn't affect Loud Sounds Reduced at all, am I right?
I'm asking because I installed LSR and I can't hear any difference in the vanilla sounds which should be reduced .. :(
