A port of this amazing gmod mod by Hat Kid:

This replaces the model, animations, and sounds.

Had to do some extensive texture fixes to get things working for HL2 but other than that, a simple port.

It's amazing and will absolutely make your experience peak by having it installed.

PLEASE NOTE:

The textures do not randomize like they do in gmod.
Why?
I don't know.

ok, in ep1 it was in urban flight and in ep2 it was this vortal coil. again it could easily have been my computer but just making sure.

now it might just be my computer but in ep2 where you have to protect the vort and alyx from the waves of antlions, the game broke my companions ai and made them all miss there shots so they would only shoot the wall, it also somehow prevented more waves of antlions from spawning making progression impossible, theres also a combine assault in ep1 that never occured as well because of this mod. its still good though.

i like this mod but for some reason it bugs my game and halts any kind of progress in certain areas. specifically in ep1 and ep2.
